Connect Avocart to your assistant
Use your Avocart household in ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant. It sees your profiles, targets, activity, orders and cart. It can suggest meals, change recipes for a diet and fill your cart. It cannot place an order or pay.
You need the Avocart iPhone app, signed in. The app approves the connection.
- Open the Connectors page in Claude.Open Claude connectors ↗
- Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Paste in Name:
- Paste in Remote MCP server URL:
- Click Continue, keep the sign-in settings, and click Add. Then click Connect.
- A page opens with a QR code. Scan it with your iPhone camera, check the code in Avocart, and tap Allow. On a phone, tap Open Avocart instead.
Claude Free allows 1 custom connector. In a chat, turn on Avocart in the + menu under Connectors.

- Set Authentication to OAuth, then add the server.

Custom MCP servers are on some ChatGPT plans only. If you do not see Add custom MCP server, use Claude.

- In Cursor Settings › MCP, click Connect next to avocart.

- Start the server when VS Code asks, then sign in.

- Paste in Run in a terminal:
- In Claude Code, type /mcp, select avocart and select Authenticate.

- Add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth sign-in.

To disconnect an assistant, go to Settings › Assistants in the Avocart app.
