Is nutrition from ChatGPT accurate?
Not on its own. ChatGPT writes nutrition numbers from patterns in its training data. It does not look the food up, so a number can be wrong and can change when you ask again. Connected to Avocart, ChatGPT quotes numbers that Avocart computes for each ingredient from USDA data.
Can ChatGPT track my nutrition?
Yes, with Avocart. Tell ChatGPT what you ate. Avocart computes the nutrition, logs it for the right person and compares the day with that person’s targets. The Avocart app shows the same log.
Can ChatGPT plan meals for a family with different diets?
Yes, with Avocart. ChatGPT asks Avocart for a dish, and Avocart makes a version for each person whose diet it does not fit, such as vegetarian, dairy-free or paleo, with a portion sized to each person’s targets.
Can ChatGPT order my groceries?
ChatGPT makes an Instacart shopping list from your Avocart cart at the store you choose. You open the link, check the items and pay on Instacart. ChatGPT cannot pay or place an order.
What can ChatGPT see and change?
Your household’s diets and targets, today’s activity, saved meals, food logs, your cart and your orders. It can save meals, log food, update a person’s weight, goal or activity level, and fill your cart. Diets are changed in the app only. Disconnect at any time in the Avocart app under Profile, Settings, Assistants.
Do I need the Avocart app?
Yes. You approve the connection in the Avocart app on iPhone, and your household lives there. Avocart is free during early access through TestFlight.
